Kehinde Wiley is a painter who challenges the norm by sampling well know historic 

paintings and replacing the subject with 

modern people of color. Kehinde makes work that forces people to question the lack of nonwhite subjets in fine art by juxaposing historic and cultural styles.

 

I had the pleasure of designing a poster triptych inspired by Kehinde. Though the posters are made as a group, each poster must be able to stand alone.
